Enjoyable Trip – Walter Maben

Let me congratulate you on all the troubles you’ve gone through which has made this trip an enjoyable and a memorable one. The hotel where we were accommodated, the air-conditioned buses in which we travelled around, the meals that were served and the highly knowledgeable guides that took us around were all par excellence and much beyond our expectations. Most of all, we must be grateful to our loving God for being with us throughout and ensuring we did not face any obstacles anywhere. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip and no amount of our saying "thanks" would be sufficient.

A Spiritual Journey

They say a trip to Israel will change your life. That might sound a bit dramatic, but it certainly changed mine. !!! One of my most vivid memories of the trip occurred at the Mount of Beatitudes when a Pastor from our tour began reading the Beatitudes quietly. As he spoke, I took a deep breath and listened to the words read from Matthew chapter 5.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth…."

They say a trip to Israel will change your life. Healing from severe knee pain

I was booked to go to Israel and suddenly I started having terrible knee pain, my entire leg used to go numb at times. The tour date was fast approaching and I did not want to cancel the tour at this stage and decided to go see a doctor. I was prescribed medication for 3 months. I took all my medicines with me and trusting God I went on the tour. I started to experience the healing touch of God while travelling itself. Normally when I sit for a longer time in the flight my leg swells up, but this time I noticed there was no swelling. Even during our Holy site visits, I noticed there was absolutely no pain and I was able to finish the tour comfortably.One particular day, I did not use the lift to my hotel room that was located on the 9th floor as there was a big queue waiting to board the lift , I did not have the patience to wait and I took the stairs all the way to the 9th floor. I did not experience any feeling of exhaustion or any sign of knee pain.
